The Burr

Editor of the Fall 2003 edition of The Burr, Kent State’s student magazine. The 2003 Burr staff won the SPJ Mark of Excellence Award for Best Student Magazine (published more than once a year).

I wrote an article in the Spring 2002 Burr titled “Where Have All the DJs Gone?”

 

Dealer Tire

I completed freelance assignments on a semi-regular basis for Dealer Tire, mostly compiling information for signs, checking graphics for style and grammar issues, and working with designers to adjust copy for in-store signage. I also proofed annual reports and have worked on small copy projects.
